Revolutionary Foiling Boat Design by 36-Year-Old Scientist

Sampriti Bhattacharyya, a 36-year-old scientist and CEO, has designed an advanced electric foiling yacht through her company Navier. Bhattacharyya, who defied expectations in her native India to pursue her passion for space and ocean exploration, aims to transform water-borne transport with self-piloting fleets. The N30 yacht, equipped with carbon foils and an advanced operating system, is 10 times more efficient than traditional gas-powered boats and offers a smooth, zero-emissions ride. Navier plans to deliver 30-50 crafts by the end of next year and hopes to expand to electric water taxis and barges in coastal cities worldwide.
