Mercedes-Benz VLE Expands Luxury EV Line With US Long-Wheelbase Van

Mercedes-Benz unveils the VLE, a luxury electric minivan that seats six to eight and will offer a long‑wheelbase version in the United States. The lineup starts with the VLE 300 (272 hp) and the VLE 400 (409 hp, 0–60 mph in 6.4 s), with all‑wheel drive via a rear motor when extra power or traction is needed. It rides on an 800V, 115 kWh usable battery delivering over 434 miles WLTP (up to 221 miles added in 14 minutes of charging) and features Airmatic suspension with Google Maps integration, up to 7 degrees of rear‑wheel steering, and a spacious interior with multiple center‑console options, a 31.1‑inch rear 8K display for conferencing, AR head‑up display, Burmester 22‑speaker sound, and Roll & Go/electrically adjustable seating. The VLE mirrors Vision V concept styling and will launch in final specs closer to market introduction.
