Honeywell Bolsters Cybersecurity Software Portfolio with SCADAfence Acquisition

Honeywell has announced its acquisition of SCADAfence, a provider of operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) cybersecurity solutions. The acquisition will strengthen Honeywell's OT cybersecurity portfolio, allowing it to offer expanded asset discovery, threat detection, and compliance management capabilities. The integration of SCADAfence into Honeywell's Forge Cybersecurity+ suite will provide an end-to-end enterprise OT cybersecurity solution, enhancing security and reliability for customers in various sectors. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2023, subject to regulatory approvals.
