Alef Aeronautics has become the first company to receive Special Airworthiness Certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration for its fully electric flying car, marking the first-ever legal approval for such a vehicle to fly in the United States. The car is drivable on public roads and has the capability for takeoff and landing, seating one or two occupants.
