Elon Musk's X to Launch YouTube-Like App for Smart TVs

Elon Musk's X is set to launch an app for smart TVs that is similar to YouTube TV, aiming to compete with YouTube by offering access to long-form content and recruiting popular creators like MrBeast. The app will first be available exclusively for Amazon and Samsung smart TVs, and Musk has also inked a deal with former CNN anchor Don Lemon for a new show. Musk's larger goal is to make X the "everything app," similar to China's WeChat, by incorporating features such as payments processing and becoming a comprehensive digital platform.
