Elon Musk's Twitter Decision Sends Bluesky's Web Traffic Soaring

Bluesky, a decentralized social media platform developed by Jack Dorsey, saw a surge in web traffic after Elon Musk's unpopular decision to limit the number of tweets non-paying users can read on Twitter. Bluesky, which is still in an invite-only beta phase, experienced record-high traffic and had to temporarily pause sign-ups due to performance issues. While Bluesky has big aspirations, it currently has a small user base of approximately 50,000 users. The platform's decentralized protocol aims to address the controversies and complications associated with Twitter.
