"Rescue Operation Successful: Trapped Elevator Passengers Freed During Northwest Reno Power Outages"

Multiple power outages in northwest Reno and around the University of Nevada campus have left over 6,300 customers without power. Among those affected are people trapped in an elevator, who have since been freed without any medical issues. Reno Fire Department stayed on the scene until the passengers were rescued. NV Energy estimates that power will be restored to most customers by 8:30 p.m.
