Community Weighs in on Empty Walmart Building in Albuquerque

Residents of Albuquerque's International District are requesting the city to use the vacant Walmart building for another grocery store and pharmacy, as they desperately need one. The city is looking to purchase the property, but they don't have enough money yet to buy it. Walmart has said if the property does not sell, they are willing to negotiate. Several meetings will be held throughout the summer to discuss solutions.
