Woman Sues Hershey for $5M Over Reese's Missing Halloween Decorations

The plaintiff, Cynthia Kelly, and other consumers were misled into expecting decorated chocolates, which previous packaging versions accurately depicted as undecorated. The lawsuit claims this misrepresentation was an attempt to boost sales, and it cites similar cases against other companies, some of which have been dismissed or settled. Hershey has not commented on the pending litigation.
