Nevada Gaming Control Board Eliminates Outdated Rules at Lombardo's Request.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has identified dozens of outdated subsections and amendments in the state's 37 different gaming regulations, which are no longer applicable in overseeing the state's largest industry. The board has scheduled a public workshop to discuss removing these outdated subsections, which are within nine of the state's gaming regulations. The board's effort to comply with a directive issued by Gov. Joe Lombardo in January, which tasked all state agencies to review existing regulations and recommend at least 10 for removal by May 1.
