Elizabeth Holmes' Image Overhaul: From Deep-Voiced Fraudster to Devoted Mother?

Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of Theranos, commented on Amanda Seyfried's Emmy-winning portrayal of her in the Hulu limited series "The Dropout," stating that Seyfried was playing a character she created and not her true self. Holmes suggested that Seyfried did well in mimicking a fraudulent persona, including her performative voice. Seyfried's portrayal of Holmes earned her an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe. Holmes was recently sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for fraud and is currently appealing her sentence.
