Acrisure Secures Naming Rights for Grand Rapids Riverfront Amphitheater

The new 12,000-capacity riverfront amphitheater planned for downtown Grand Rapids will be named Acrisure Amphitheater, thanks to a $30 million gift from Acrisure, a global insurance brokerage and technology company. The venue, expected to open in 2026, aims to attract national music acts, boost tourism, and revitalize the industrial stretch of the Grand River. The amphitheater is part of a larger redevelopment plan for a 31-acre area along the river's eastern edge, which will include housing, green space, and retailers. Grand Action 2.0 is working to raise $70 million in private donations to fund the $184 million project.
