Ticketmaster Cyber Attack Exposes Millions of Customers' Data

A lawsuit has been filed against Live Nation and Ticketmaster by California residents, accusing the companies of negligence in securing personal data of 560 million customers, which was subsequently listed for sale on the dark web. The lawsuit claims the breach included names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, ticket sales details, and partial payment card data. The U.S. Justice Department has also filed a separate suit against the companies for antitrust violations. Live Nation is investigating the breach and has acknowledged a criminal attempt to sell the data.
