HCA Healthcare Data Breach Exposes 11 Million Patients

HCA Healthcare, the parent company of HCA Florida, has disclosed a data breach impacting 11 million patients. The breach exposed patients' names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, birth dates, and appointment details. However, credit card numbers, account numbers, and social security numbers were not accessed. Over 100 hospitals and clinics in Florida, including Ocala, Osceola, Oviedo, and Lake Nona, were affected. HCA Healthcare will provide credit monitoring and identity protection services to affected patients and advises vigilance against spam calls, texts, or emails.
