Spate of Carjackings Reported at Chicago Gas Stations

A man was carjacked and assaulted at a gas station in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. The incident is the latest in a string of carjackings in the city. The victim was able to pull the first suspect out of his vehicle, but a second suspect intervened and assaulted him before stealing the car. The stolen vehicle was later recovered by police several blocks away. No suspects are in custody.
