Redlands Man Swindled Out of $21,000 in Fake Gold Craigslist Scam

A man in Southern California was scammed out of $21,000 after purchasing what he believed was real gold from a seller on Craigslist. The victim met with the seller twice before realizing the gold was fake and attempting to contact the seller, only to find their phone number was no longer working. The Redlands Police Department is now searching for the suspect, described as a 6-foot tall man with tattoos on both arms and poor dental hygiene.
