Rampant Credit Card Skimming Uncovered at Walmart Stores in Central NY and Lincoln Walgreens

Credit card skimming devices have been found at multiple Walmart locations in Central New York, including Auburn and Granby. The devices were installed on July 2 and discovered on July 5. Auburn Police are seeking the public's help to identify three suspects who are believed to have installed the devices. Customers who shopped at these locations are advised to check their credit card and bank statements for any fraudulent charges. Skimming devices capture data or record cardholders' PINs, which criminals use to create fake cards and steal from victims' accounts.
