Rampant Credit Card Skimming Devices Plague Central NY Stores

Another credit card skimming device has been discovered, this time at a Save a Lot Food store in Cortlandville, Central New York. The device was found by an employee who noticed that the keys on the credit card machine's keypad looked different. Upon investigation, the skimming device was found and removed. No suspect information has been released. Similar devices were previously found at multiple Walmart stores in the region. Experts advise using a card's chip or contactless payment methods to avoid being scammed.
