A McDonald's employee in Hendersonville, North Carolina, is facing murder charges after shooting and killing a woman during an altercation at the restaurant. Surveillance video shows that the employee, Sam Antwan Ivey, overreacted by pulling out a concealed handgun and shooting the woman between the collar bones. The victim, Jacklyn Marie Reed, had been involved in an altercation with another woman at a nearby bus stop before entering the McDonald's. Despite receiving calls about Reed's erratic behavior, the police chief stated that she did not deserve to die. Ivey has been charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
