Multiple Credit Card Skimmers Uncovered at Central NY Walmart and Walgreens Stores

Four credit card skimmers were discovered at four different Walmart stores in Central New York over the July 4th holiday weekend. The devices, which were secretly placed in checkouts, were found after four days. Local police are investigating the incident and are looking for three suspects believed to have installed the skimmers. Walmart has declined to provide information about the number of customers affected. Customers who shopped at the affected stores between July 2 and July 5 are advised to check their credit card and bank statements for any fraudulent charges.
