Mother Sentenced to 30 Days for Waterboarding and Freezing Infant Son

A mother in Oregon has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for waterboarding her infant son and placing him in a freezer as an act of spite towards the child's father. The mistreatment was discovered during a welfare check, and images were recovered showing the mother waterboarding the baby. She claimed it was a test to see if the father cared about their child. The mother had previously pleaded guilty to criminal mistreatment and other charges in a separate case.
