Miami Car Salesman Scams Buyers Out of $179,000 and Cars

Carlos Ravelo, a former finance manager at AutoNation Honda in Miami, has been charged with multiple counts of grand theft and fraud after allegedly scamming buyers out of $179,800 for cars that were never delivered. Ravelo convinced buyers to pay him in cash for cars at a great price, but failed to deliver the vehicles. Some buyers trusted Ravelo because of his position at the dealership or because of previous dealings with him. Anyone who believes they were victimized by Ravelo or any other used car salesman should contact Miami-Dade police.
