Mail Carriers Targeted: Robberies and Concerns Rise in Chicago and Toledo

An armed good Samaritan intervened and thwarted an attempted robbery of a postal worker in River Grove, a quiet Chicago suburb. The postal worker was approached by an armed suspect who demanded his keys, and although the mail carrier complied, the armed witness fired at the suspect, causing him to flee.
