Female traveler attacks and injures 3 TSA officers at Phoenix airport.

Three TSA officers were injured in an "unprovoked and brazen" attack by a 19-year-old female traveler at a security checkpoint at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Two officers were taken to the hospital and later released. The checkpoint was closed, inconveniencing approximately 450 travelers. The TSA will pursue independent enforcement actions against the traveler, who could face fines of nearly $14,000. This is not the first such incident at the airport.
