"Arrest Made in Portage Stabbing; Victim in Critical Condition"

A 19-year-old man from Portage, Michigan, is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 24-year-old man from Kalamazoo during a child custody exchange in the parking lot of a McDonald's. The victim is in critical condition and was rushed to the hospital for surgery. Several others were injured during the altercation, but refused treatment. The suspect is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail while the investigation continues.
