Armed Man Arrested in Toyota Plant Stand-Off

A man has been arrested and is facing charges after threatening a guard with a knife and barricading himself inside a guard shack at the Toyota Plant in San Antonio. The incident, which occurred on the city's South Side, prompted a SWAT response and negotiations that lasted approximately four hours. Tear gas was eventually deployed to clear the shack and detain the man, who will be charged with aggravated robbery, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief. No hostages were reported in the incident, and Toyota confirmed that no personnel were impacted.
