"Massive Recall: 300K Air Fryers Sold at Major Retailers Pose Burn Hazard"

Empower Brands is voluntarily recalling over 300,000 units of its PowerXL dual-basket air fryers sold at retailers like Walmart, Target, and Amazon due to a potential burn hazard. The recall comes after 41 reports of the product breaking during use, resulting in three burn injuries. The plastic connector used to combine the two food baskets can break, posing a risk to consumers. The affected models are the DUAF-10 and DUAF-005, sold between August 2021 and October 2023. Consumers are advised to stop using the air fryers and contact Empower Brands for a full refund.
