"Massive Bed Recall: Over 500,000 Units Pose Fall and Injury Hazards"

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 527,177 Home Design Upholstered Low Profile Standard and Platform Beds sold at various retailers due to fall and injury hazards. The beds can break, sag, or collapse during use, posing a risk of falls and injuries for consumers. Home Design has received 128 reports of the beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing during use, including 36 injuries. Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the recalled beds and contact Home Design for free replacement slats and side rails.
