Over 580,000 beds sold at major retailers like Walmart and Wayfair are being recalled due to reports of breaking, sagging, or collapsing during use, resulting in dozens of injuries. The recall affects various models and sizes of upholstered low profile standard and platform beds from Home Design, Inc., with consumers urged to stop using them immediately and contact the company for free replacement slats and side rails. The recalled beds, sold between July 2018 and November 2023, were manufactured in Malaysia and were distributed in the U.S. and Canada.
