The recall affects two models of air fryers made by Empower Brands and sold under the PowerXL name. The U-shaped connector that holds the two baskets together is prone to breaking, causing the baskets to fall and potentially burn users. Owners are urged to stop using the fryers and claim refunds. This comes after a previous recall of two million air fryers manufactured by Cosori due to fire and burn hazards.
