Jeffrey Katzenberg Shifts Focus to Cybersecurity Startups

Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of DreamWorks and former chair of Walt Disney Studios, has raised $460 million for his investment firm WndrCo, which now manages $1.3 billion. Katzenberg is focusing on technology startups, particularly in cybersecurity, and steering clear of digital media after the failure of his short-form entertainment company Quibi. WndrCo has invested in companies like Dapper, Databricks, and Robinhood, and built businesses such as Aura and Twingate. The firm aims to find up to seven venture investments and build one or two companies each year, with a focus on making a positive impact on the world.
