Target recalls 5M scented candles over injury reports

Target has recalled nearly 5 million of its Threshold candles due to reports of candle jars breaking or cracking during use, which resulted in six injuries including lacerations and severe burns. The recall involves three of Target's Threshold candle products, and customers are urged to stop using them immediately and return them to Target for a refund. The candles were sold at Target stores nationwide as well as online from August 2019 through March 2023 for between $3 and $20.
