Delta's Business Travel Takes a Hit from Hollywood and Auto Strikes

Delta Air Lines President Glen Hauenstein stated that recent strikes by Hollywood talent and United Auto Workers union members are negatively impacting business travel demand, particularly in Los Angeles and Detroit. Delta, with a significant market share in these areas, is the most affected carrier. However, the overall recovery of business travel is still evident, with double-digit growth from technology and financial services customers. A majority of corporate customers expect their travel to remain the same or increase in the coming months and into 2024.
