United Airlines flight 2434 from Florida to Illinois made an emergency landing in Tampa due to a possible mechanical issue with a door indicator light turning on shortly after takeoff. The Airbus A319 aircraft, carrying 123 passengers and 5 crew members, diverted as a precaution. This incident follows a recent Alaska Airlines midair door blowout on a Boeing 737-9 Max, prompting the cancellation of all flights on that aircraft type through Jan. 13.
