"Multiple Honda Models Recalled in 2023 Due to Engine Concerns"

Honda is recalling nearly 250,000 vehicles, including Acura and Honda models, due to a defective connecting rod bearing that could cause the engine to malfunction or stall while driving, posing a risk of fire, crash, or injury. This is Honda's 14th recall of the year and the fifth largest, bringing the total number of Honda vehicles recalled in 2023 to over three million. Owners will be notified by letter in early January, and dealers will inspect, repair, and replace the engines free of charge.
