GM Teases Electric Coupe Lineup, Including Camaro and Corvette EVs

General Motors is developing an electric coupe based on its Ultium platform, sparking speculation about whether it will be an electric Camaro or Corvette. The company has announced that all upcoming EVs on the Ultium platform will feature bidirectional V2H charging technology, with the first vehicles to receive this capability being the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST, GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Cadillac Lyriq, and upcoming Cadillac ESCALADE IQ. While the sedans and coupes were not specifically mentioned, GM's president confirmed an electric Corvette was in the works, and sources suggest that the Corvette and Camaro may receive their own electric spinoff versions. The electric coupe may also include a high-end EV from the Cadillac brand as it aims for an all-electric lineup by 2030.
